This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox of the Various artist Collection called " Club MTV Party To Go : Volume One "  . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1991  on the Tommy Boy Records label with a CAT. NR . : TBCD 1037 .    The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open on the back side at the very bottom adjacent to the bottom flap  -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.   The cut mark made on the back side at the very bottom was made about 1/8"  inch from the very bottom seam.   The cut mark made on the back side near the bottom is  made a little aggressively - and does not affect Front side viewing.  The front side bottom label flap has the graphics to that label flap becoming unattached.  The unattached graphic can be mended with some light gluing and does not affect front side viewing.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
