This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox  MONTY PYTHON  album release called " The Final Ripoff " . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1988 on the VIRGIN  Records label with a CAT. NR . : 90865-2.    The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1" d .  The 2 cd set was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . The double-thick longbox was cut open over the bottom flap -  to remove the cd set - a number of years ago. The bottom flap folds back into the longbox.  There is a razor blade cut mark made into and across 1/2 of the bottom flap.  The cut mark is Not visible for front or back side viewing.  There is a 1" razor blade cut mark in the middle of the back side of the longbox at the bottom.  This cut mark is not visible for front side viewing.   There is a shrink wrap tearing of the shrink wrap on the back side on the bottom half across toward the middle.  The shrink wrap tearing on the back side can be mended with some light taping.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD set is Included with this purchase .
