I created these handy curtain rod holders to eliminate drilling holes in metal doors. These are made of oak and are stained. They have no other finish, so they can be painted to match any decor. They measure about 1-1/2 inches tall, 5/8" wide and 1 inch deep.  The hole for the rod is 1/2" in diameter and about 5/16" deep and does not go all the way through the wood. The magnets are

and very strong.  A pair of the rod holders will hold roughly 9 pounds of weight. Inexspensive rods are readily available everywhere, so I eliminate the cost of mailing the long rods and focus on
quailty
ends. Using them is easy.  They cause no damage to your door and you can take them with you. I have used two pairs of this particular style to stretch sheers over my patio door.  They are inconspicuous and simply an awesome solution to drilling holes. Cost includes first class postage to anywhere in the United States.     .
