This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by Utopia of the album release called " Oops!  Wrong Planet "   . This longbox release was originally issued in the 80' on the Rhino Records label with a CAT. NR . :70870.    The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in fair condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open on the back side with a razor blade at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled open somewhat nicely -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.
There is compression issues with this longbox .  The compression to mainly the top half of the longbox.  The compression has caused a very slighty creasing of the left spine along the spine edge  .  The compression has also caused a surface crease on the top side along the edge.     The compression crease is noticeable for front side viewing , but not too distracting. The compression surface crease along the left spine is not too noticeable and not distracting.  The crease at the top side can be noticeable, but not too distracting for front side viewing.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
